Terms of Service for CCCOFSWFL

Payment Terms

Initial Payment and Phase Payments

  • A to-start sum is due upon contract signing to initiate the project.
  • Subsequent payments, referred to as phase sums, are due upon the completion of clearly defined milestones, ensuring payments correspond to measurable progress.
    Examples of project milestones include:
    • Completion of flooring removal.
    • Removal of baseboards, window trim, or non-structural items.
    • Removal of drywall or bath/shower fixtures.

Weekly Payment Structure

  • Payments are calculated based on completed phases and are typically due weekly. This approach ensures clients make payments aligned with visible progress, providing transparency and fostering mutual trust.

Project Timelines and Operations

Projected Timeline
The estimated project duration is 7–10 working days for standard projects or 3–4 weeks for larger, more complex undertakings. This timeline excludes delivery and preparatory days, accounting for:

  • The delivery and organization of materials and tools at the site.
  • Preparatory measures to protect home surfaces and belongings.
  • Post-completion clean-up and tool removal.

Accounting for Justifiable Delays
Unforeseen circumstances such as medical appointments or other excusable absences will not affect the projected timeline or the quality of project execution.

Attention to Dry Times
Phases requiring drying times, such as adhesive applications, caulking, or wood putty work, will extend the overall timeline to ensure structural integrity and superior finishes.

Helper Availability
If additional labor is unavailable, project completion times may extend proportionally. This does not impact pre-determined labor costs or contractual obligations.

Materials and Waste Management

Material Deliveries and Storage

  • Materials will be delivered before the project start date.
  • Clients must provide a secure, weather-protected storage area, such as a garage, to accommodate materials and equipment during the project.

Consumables and Equipment
The project includes costs for essential consumables (e.g., saw blades, glue, caulk, and sandpaper) and specialized equipment, ensuring the highest quality results.

Waste Disposal Options

  • Waste generated during the project will be placed in a receptacle provided by the client.
  • Clients may choose professional waste removal services provided by CCCOFSWFL for an additional fee starting at a minimum of $300. The final cost may increase significantly based on the size and duration of the project. This fee includes labor, transportation, and disposal expenses.

Quality Standards and Scope

Commitment to Elevated Standards
CCCOFSWFL delivers superior craftsmanship, far exceeding “builder-grade” installations. Every detail, including precision caulking, sanding, and finishing, is executed to achieve a flawless, paint-ready surface.

Detailed Layout and Planning

  • The project undergoes meticulous planning, with detailed layouts drawn on-site to ensure precision and uniformity.
  • To-scale design drafts, created exclusively by CCCOFSWFL, will be provided to the client upon contract signing and receipt of the initial payment.

Inclusions and Exclusions

  • Only items explicitly stated within the project scope are included. Any additional work must be discussed and approved prior to the project start date.

Communication and Documentation

Transparent Communication
CCCOFSWFL prioritizes open and consistent communication, providing daily updates and progress reports, including photos, to keep clients fully informed.

Comprehensive Photo Documentation

  • Photos documenting the project’s progress are taken at every stage to:
    • Update clients, particularly those who may not be present during the project.
    • Serve as a record of completion for both parties.
    • Be used for promotional purposes with appropriate credit given to CCCOFSWFL.

Intellectual Property

Ownership and Usage of Photos

  • All photos and videos taken during the project are the intellectual property of CCCOFSWFL.
  • Clients are welcome to share photos positively but must seek prior approval before publishing or redistributing them.
  • CCCOFSWFL retains the right to use project photos for promotional and advertising purposes, with appropriate acknowledgment of design contributions.

Limitations and Liabilities

Insurance Coverage
CCCOFSWFL carries liability insurance up to $1,000,000 to cover contractor-caused issues. However, any client-caused damage, injuries, or deficiencies are not covered under this policy.

Project Cancellation
Once the project begins, the client may not cancel or interrupt its progress without compensating CCCOFSWFL for the full contractual amount.

Client Responsibilities
Clients must clear all movable items from the work area before the project begins. CCCOFSWFL is not liable for damages to items left within the project area that could have been reasonably removed.
